The extension will have a floor area of 326 square metres
A €1 million clubhouse extension has been proposed by Robertstown GFC at its grounds in Robertstown West, Co. Kildare.
The planning application seeks permission for the construction of a single-storey extension to the existing clubhouse, which will provide new underage dressing rooms and a mixed-use community hall.
The proposed development, which has an estimated value of €1 million, will include all associated site works. The extension will have a floor area of 326 square metres and forms part of a wider 3.43-hectare site.
The application was submitted on June 26.
The project is listed as a private community development under the social sector.
Whyte Planning Consultants Ltd is acting as architect for Robertstown GFC, with Uisce Éireann providing consultancy services for the project.
The planned upgrade will enhance facilities for young players while also creating an additional community space for local groups and activities.
The development represents a significant investment by Robertstown GFC in supporting both sporting and community life in the area.
