Truck smashing into bridge causes delays for Co Kildare rail commuters

A truck that crashed into the bridge at Heuston Station caused significant delays for train commuters to Co Kildare today. The incident happened at around 3.45p.m. According to Irish Rail Spokesperson, Barry Kenny, train routes are now back to normal in the county. Mr Kenny said: "The road was going over the railway and smashed into a wall on the bridge. Debris fell from the train track and we had to make sure that everything was safe."
