A small Kildare company entered the US trading markets today

Equilume have announced that they will enter the US market in a bid to expand its sales to the thriving US thoroughbred and quarter horse market. The Kildare based company was only set up in 2012, but they have been hugely successful in their endeavors thus far, and have been nominated for plenty of prestigious awards in the last four years. There are currently nine employees at Equilume in Kildare, which includes two new sales and marketing executives that have recently been hired. The company also engages with 15 other sales representatives around the world as they sell their product to horse breeders on every corner of the globe. The company's biggest asset is their development Equilume Light Mask which helps to maximise reproduction efficiency for horses wearing the mask. It provides a low-level blue light to a single eye for a set time each day and is powered to last the length of an entire breeding season. The reproduction aiding mask has received plenty of good reviews with the benefits of added foal weights at birth, earlier breeding seasons and aiding in the prevention of prolonged gestation some of the benefits of the product.
