Naas children learning in old prefabs despite planning granted for new school almost two years ago

Convent-Primary-School-150x150 (1) Hundreds of Naas children are still in old prefabs at the Mercy Convent Primary School, despite planning permission for a new school being granted back in January 2014. Currently ten classrooms are in prefabs, some of which are 20 years old. Appeals have been made to Minister of Education Jan O’Sullivan  by Labour Deputy Emmet Stagg, to complete the tender process.
