A Kildare woman has just won the Network Ireland, Established Business Award. Paula Egan was named as the overall winner at the Knockranny House Hotel in Westport, Co Mayo last night (Sunday). She founded taxbuddy.ie and financeservices.ie, two platforms that provide a range of financial help to people looking to do everything from claim tax refunds, to managing accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Kildare Now's Commercial manager Anna Fortune was one of the judges that picked Paula to represent Kildare at the national finals last night in Mayo. Congratulating Paula, Anna she said she was a great role model to women who wanted to run their own companies in the previously male dominated field of financial services. Paula lives close to Kill in Co Kildare.
