Co Kildare commuters likely to be stranded by rail strike this bank holiday

Thousands of Co Kildare commuters will be left without any transport this month. There are currently 5,500 commuters in Co Kildare dependent on the rail network. On Friday, October 23, train drivers are expected to take part in a three hour stoppage. Unions will meet today to finalise arrangements as the row over payment for past productivity escalates.
