PHOTO GALLERY: Passing Out Parade for Co Kildare recruits and their colleagues

A Military Ceremony to mark the Passing Out of Members of the 106th Recruit Platoon took place in McDermott Square in the Defence Forces Training Centre, Curragh Camp on Thursday, Training, which began on May 30, concluded yesterday with the passing out ceremony which saw 41 recruits complete their training and become 2-star Privates. There were 21 recruits from Co Kildare, seven from Co Carlow, six from Co Offaly, four from Co Laois, and one each from Cos Louth, Westmeath and Wicklow.
A Defence Forces spokesman said; "We congratulate, and wish all the new 2-star Privates the best of luck in their future military careers."
