New pop-up gallery and shop opens in Naas

Today sees the launch of Art Hub's new concept of bringing art to Co Kildare  in the form of a pop up gallery and shop titled 'Metamorphosis', an exhibition of diverse artworks from Ireland. The first pop up of many to come will be located in the Moat Mall, Naas, Co. Kildare from Thursday December 1 until December 31. The pop up will feature many talented artists and craftspeople from all over Ireland in an exhibition celebrating their inspirations. Present at the launch were local artists Sean Curran (Painter, Naas), Aisling Mahon (Jewellery Designer, Newbridge), Laura Jordan (Textile Artist, Newbridge), Laura Seed (Graphic Designer, Clane, Originally from Liverpool), and Vincent Devine (Painter) and Patrick Rabbette, (Painter, Illustrator) both from Clara, Co. Offaly. Other artists and craftspeople involved in the pop up include Linda Anderson, Rosemary Durr, Claire Molloy, Jacqui Kelly, Gemma O'Leary, Ciaran Duffy, Brian Larke, Tony O'Connor, Lorraine Fletcher, Eoin O'Connor, Avril Nolan, Sean Curran, Fergus A Ryan,  Roisin Duffy, Morgan Gibbs, Maureen Butler, Patrick Rabbette, Peter O'Connor, Maura McCarthy, Emer Kelly, Laura Jordan, Fergus A Ryan, Mary Wiklie, Molly Ellis, John Geoghegan, Ciaran Dunleavy and Maria Johnston. Vincent Devine Artist said: "I am thrilled to be exhibiting and represented by Art Hub for the month of December in the beautiful bustling town of Naas. The standard of art and craft is second to none and I'm honoured to have been asked.' Aisling Mahon Jewellery Designer said :"To be asked to be involved in art hub was so exciting that I jumped on board it has also come at the perfect time for me as it falls the same week as the online launch of my jewellery collection. I will also be announcing more stockists in the new year, which I'm very excited about.” Krystle Foley Art Hub Project Manager said: "The reaction has been amazing from the artists and the community.
