A church located near Coill Dubh was the scene of a wedding on RTE show Don't Tell The Bride last night. Coolcarrigan Church was founded as a Church of Ireland church in 1885 by Archbishop Lord Plunkett. The programme showed Brazilian man planning his big day with bride-to-be Paulina Lemke from Poland. Paulina wanted to get married in a castle but while Eduardo wanted something a little different. With no church booked and with days to go to the wedding day, Eduardo was shown arranging Coolcarrigan Church at very short notice. "You have save my life!'" said Eduardo. The Church also has an extensive 15-acre garden of rare trees which are perfect for wedding photographs. Viewers see that Eduardo anger Paulina by going to her native Poland on a stag - but the real reason is to secretly flies back her granny who has never been on a plane. He later organises a stripy inflatable horse that his bride will sit under on a Brazilian carnival style float on her wedding day.
