Major vintage car auction coming up in Kildare

Merlin Car Auctions in association with carshows.ie is presenting 100 classic and vintage cars for auction on Sunday February 5. The event takes place in Merlin Car Auctions, Junction 10, Naas Road, Co Kildare with the viewing from 11am and selling begins at 1pm. Among these highlights are:

• A stunning 1967 Mercedes 250SL LHD Convertible with just 87,955 miles on the clock with a guide price of in excess of €40,000
• A 1972 VW Kyote II Wagon.  The Kyote II is one of only 150 made by Dean Jeffries with just 13,124 miles on the clock.

Other standout cars in the catalogue include:

• 1954 Austin A30 Seven 803 with 76,226 miles
• 1964 Hillman Minx with 89,680 miles
• 1953 MG Midget TD Convertible Original Right Hand Drive
