Hotels in and around Co Kildare have been chosen for the Best Wedding Venues guide by wedding website, One Fab Day. The fourth edition of the independent 68-page guide features a variety of locations including castles and even rustic barns judged by experts. Co Kildare venues picked include five-star options like the K Club, the Village at Lyons, Killashee House Hotel, Carton House and Rathsallagh House. However the six-bedroom Martinstown House in the Curragh was also chosen as one of 31 venues in the Leinster region. Described as ideal for 'intimate house party in idyllic surroundings,' the judges added: "We love the attention to detail and those little special extra touches that make Edward and Roisin the most fabulous hosts." See the full guide on www.onefabday.com.
