A Christmas party will be held at the weekly Bingo night in The Croft Inn in Suncroft on Thursday, December 21. Everybody who attends is asked to wear a Christmas jumper or hat. A Single Book costs €7, a Double Book is €12 and a Jackpot Sheet is €2. Meanwhile, regular weekly Bingo will return as usual after Christmas on Thursday, December 28. Another very successful Bingo Night was held at the Croft Inn last night. The weekly event is organised by hard-working, multi-tasking sisters Teresa and Diane Behan and their pal Louise Monahan. The €200 Jackpot wasn't won last night and will increase to €220 next week. Last night a cheque presentation for €454 was made by Peter Keatley of The Croft Inn to committee members of the Young At Heart group for the Suncroft Parish Fuel Fund. A raffle is also held each week at the Bingo for spot prizes like a Free Turkey Voucher and a hamper from Whelan's Pharmacy in Kildare Town. It's a very good-humoured and enjoyable night and newcomers will always get a very warm welcome.
