PHOTOS: Sallins train station reopens after tragic incident

Photos by Aishling Conway   Train services have resumed through Sallins following an earlier tragic incident on the railway line.     Significant delays are expected on the busy mainline route as Irish Rail tries to get services back operating to schedule.     Several Garda vehicles, ambulances and Kildare Fire Service personnel responded to the incident. A witness reported seeing a group of family members consoling each other at the scene of the station.     An Irish Rail spokesperson said earlier:  "There are ongoing disruptions to services through Sallins as all services are suspended due to a tragic incident on the line. "Emergency services are attending, significant delays are expected, updates to follow."
