New-look Leixlip Manor Hotel opening fine dining restaurant soon

The recently-refurbished Leixlip Manor Hotel is transforming itself into a luxury five-star option for guests. A new restaurant is also expected to open in coming weeks and will serve evening dinner seven days a week. The Hotel has always been a much sought-after Wedding Venue with its location set on 30 acres of grounds and the magnificent Leixlip Gardens. After being lovingly renovated, the hotel has reopened and now offers two unique standards of accommodation. The luxurious quality of the 8 Manor Rooms are complemented by the comfortable homely feel of the 19 Courtyard Suites.     The Courtyard rooms provide a more casual style of accommodation with a range of bedrooms from Suites to Family rooms, Doubles and Twins - there's something for everyone’s needs at great value.   All guests have use of the Drawing room to relax and read over a coffee or brandy and The Redwood bar serves light snack, Breakfast, lunch and dinner.   The Leixlip Manor Hotel and Gardens is located on 27 acres of ground which include 4 acres of formal gardens. Courtyard guests are right beside a beautiful Victorian Walled garden - a beautiful place to take a stroll. Overall, the property is ideal for businesspeople visiting the area, family groups, corporate clients and for those looking to explore Dublin City and the Boyne Valley or the wonders of Ireland's Ancient East. Group Vice President for Hospitality for the Huawen Foundation which own the Hotel, Michael Lynch, said the hotel is progressing successfully from a popular luxury wedding venue into a fully functioning hotel offering an attractive range of services. The Hotel is being managed on a daily basis by resident manager Majella Kernan-Finlay. A number of very successful Wedding Showcases were held recently and current high-end wedding packages start at €90 per guest. The Hotel is now open seven days a week for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, including Sunday Lunch on Sunday. Family events such as Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties and Communions are also very welcome. Mr Lynch added: "We also want to contribute to the local economy of the Leixlip area by attracting residential business conference and other business events. "Overseas high-end tourists are also expected to enjoy our facilities and explore the local area." Restaurant A 60-seater restaurant - The Manor Rooms - is also expected to open in coming weeks and will serve evening dinner seven days a week.       Mr Lynch said that the local economy will be boosted by employment - 20 people are currently working at the Hotel and the plan is to double that number in full-time and part-time positions in coming months.
