More overnight snow across Kildare as Weather Warning continues

A Yellow Weather Warning for Snow and Ice across Ireland is in place until 10am today - bank holiday Monday. Forecasters have predicted very cold temperatures with icy patches and lying snow.     They added: "Slippery paths and roads due to accumulation of ice on untreated surfaces." Today [Monday] will be a largely dry day with sunny spells and just a few isolated showers. Maximum temperatures will reach just 4 to 6 degrees, although it will feel colder with the fresh east to northeast winds. Tuesday Tomorrow [Tuesday] will see a very frosty start to the day but otherwise it will be a dry and bright with good sunshine. Highest temperatures will only be around 6 to 8 degrees. Wednesday Temperatures will begin to improve on Wednesday as the winds turn to a southwesterly direction and values reach 9 or 10 degrees in the afternoon. Thursday Thursday will begin with a wet morning with heavy rain spreading eastwards and then a gradual clearance to follow in the afternoon. Further rain is forecast overnight that night.
