Solicitor Susan Webster wins Leinster Family Law Solicitor of the Year

Susan Webster, Principal of Susan Webster & Company Solicitors has won the Leinster Family Law Solicitor of the Year Award at the Irish Law Awards 2018. The Irish Law Awards identify and honour excellence and outstanding achievements in the legal profession.     In 2017, Susan won Leinster Solicitor of the Year at the Irish Law Awards, and in 2016, Susan won Sole Practitioner of the Year at the Irish Law Awards. The Irish Law Awards were established in 2012 with the aim of identifying, honouring, and publicising outstanding achievements, while also recognising those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the legal profession. These annual awards are designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession of Ireland. Similar events have been hosted across Europe for many years, and this prestigious ceremony allows Irish legal professionals to be recognised alongside their international peers. Susan Webster & Company, Solicitors, is a bespoke law firm working exclusively in the area of family law based in Naas, with consulting rooms in Dublin. Susan Webster, the Principal, initially qualified as a barrister before converting to practice as a solicitor and established her own practice in 2012. Susan holds a Diploma in Family Law from the Law Society of Ireland and a Certificate in Collaborative Practice. She prides herself on her non-adversarial, practical approach to finding solutions to her clients’ problems and always endeavours to ensure clients have a “Professional, Prompt and Personal” service. Susan has delivered a legal slot on Kfm radio since 2012. In June 2014, the legal slot won the Law Society of Ireland Justice Media Award. In June 2015, the legal slot won a Merit Certificate at the Law Society of Ireland Justice Media Awards. Susan is also a regular contributor to the media on legal matters. Susan strongly believes in access to justice and enjoys volunteering with the Free Legal Advice Centre. For the past number of years she has provided both the family law training and the ethics and professional conduct training for the Free Legal Advice Centre in Maynooth University. Susan regularly delivers lectures and talks on legal matters. Susan is a proud to serve as a member of the Family Law Committee, the Public Relations Committee and the Pensions Sub-Committee of the Law Society of Ireland. Susan has recently been elected as CPD Officer for the Kildare Solicitors Bar Association.
