21 members of Athy Triathlon Club all cross finish line at Ironman Barcelona
Athy Triathlon Club was the most represented club at Ironman Barcelona at the weekend.
The team has been working all year in preparation for Sunday’s challenge of completing a full distance triathlon (3.8k swim, 180k cycle & 42.2k run).
There are over 3,000 race participants from over 120 worldwide clubs.
The team are raising awareness and funds for the Club's chosen charities: Mental Health Ireland, Peter Mc Verry Trust and Athy Lions Club.
