24-hour busking session to take place in this Kildare region

The musical event will be held in aid of the charity Heart Children Ireland
A ‘24-Hour Busking Event’ is due to take place in Kildare Town.
The all-day musical session will take place in aid of Heart Children Ireland, which is a charity that aims to raise awareness and assist children with congenital heart disease, also known as CHD.
The event, which is free of charge to attend, is being organised by Bernard Gibney and Tom McCutcheon as part of the Brigid’s Busking Festival 2026.
In addition, Bernard said that they also want to raise awareness about climate action at this session.

LIVE STREAMING
And that’s not all — according to Bernard, the entire event will also be live streamed on the official Brigid’s Busking Festival YouTube channel.
“All artists are local and are volunteering their time, and obviously the dates and times etc as per the early email,” he explained.
Bernard also pointed out that donations can be made online on idonate.ie.
The ‘24-Hour Busking Event’ will take place in the Market Square region of Kildare Town from 11am on Saturday, June 13, 2026 until 11am on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
It will be sponsored by the Kildare Town Tidy Towns group.
