More than 50 homes being planned for village off M9

Planning permission has been applied for 53 homes for a village in south Kildare.

The proposed properties for Ballitore comprise of 48 two-storey terraced homes as well as four other dwellings.

Two one-bedroom and two-bedroom 'maisonette' units are also planned in two separate two-storey blocks.

One one-storey detached bungalow is also in the designs.

The homes are being built, subject to planning permission, at Fuller's Court in the Quaker village.

Planning permission was applied by Kestorra Limited, which is based in Ashbourne, Co Meath and was set up eight years ago.

The company's current directors Francis McGarrell and Rose Keenan.
