Planning permission has been applied for 53 homes for a village in south Kildare.

The proposed properties for Ballitore comprise of 48 two-storey terraced homes as well as four other dwellings.

Two one-bedroom and two-bedroom 'maisonette' units are also planned in two separate two-storey blocks.
