Anger at car parked across two disabled spaces at Lidl
18:08 Thursday 18th of January 2018

This was the scene in a packed Lidl car park in Kildare Town this afternoon.

A reader said that this vehicle, which had no disabled badge on its windscreen, was parked across two Disabled spaces.

The reader said: "This is unbelievable. I was trying to find a space myself but the car park is full.

"When I eventually found a space I walked past this car and couldn't believe my eyes.

"Not only was it parked across two Disabled spaces, but it had no Disabled parking badge on its windscreen."

A fixed charge parking fine of €80 is issued to drivers without a valid Parking Card who park their cars in disabled parking spaces.
