An Irish chef has put his name firmly on the map in the cooking world after he was announced as the winner of Gordan Ramsay's renowned television series Hell's Kitchen.
Millions of viewers tuned into the season 22 finale as Cork native Ryan O'Sullivan saw off competition from Sammi Tarantino and Johnathan Benvenut to scoop the coveted prize.
O'Sullivan received a $250,000 cash award and the accolade of becoming head chef at Hell's Kitchen Caesars in Las Vegas.
Ryan, a former student of the culinary programme at Munster Technological University, has been residing and working in Palm Beach, Florida since moving from Ireland several years ago.
