The Newbridge-based Riff Raff Drama Group are back with their premiere of their two-act comedy, 'Secret Dilemma.'

The production will feature a cast of eight characters and will be part of the initial Junefest 2024 celebrations in Newbridge.

The summary reads as follows: "Set in current time, it is Grace’s Wedding Day, and everyone is ready, except... Grace.

"Her Mother Alice has insisted on a garden wedding at the family home, nut things don’t go according to plan, with the caterers ruining the cuisine, the band leaving, and a very familiar photographer showing up, not to mention a substitute parish priest.

"A host of unusual characters arrive adding confusion and mayhem with secrets and ulterior motives exposed in this hilarious two act comedy.

"Will Grace ever tie the knot, or has she too got a….'Secret Dilemma'?

"With a fabulous cast of eight characters, 'Secret Dilemma' has moments of sincere romance, intriguing dialogue, and slapstick comedy from start to finish."

The production is directed by Dave Tiernan, and he will be assisted by Lesley Whiteley.

It is also Dave’s ninth play that he has written.

’Secret Dilemma’ will be performed at the Riverbank Arts Centre on Thursday, May 29, Friday, May 30 and Saturday, June 1.

Show Time: 8pm to 10pm.

Tickets €12 & €15.
