Love Island is less than one week away but Irish content creators brought us some major juicy tea to tie us over until then.
Carlow influencer and content creator Lauren Whelan has been the talk of people's 'for you pages' who are interested in influencers on popular social media platform TikTok.
The for you page is or otherwise known as the 'FYP' is the first page you land on when you open the TikTok app. It's a curated feed of videos from creators you might not follow, but TikTok's algorithm thinks you will like them based on your interests and past interactions.
The influencer has been in headlines recently as her breakup with fellow creator Shane Morgan has caused many people to turn their heads.
After several months together the pair who were recently on a holiday and enjoying their time in sunny Marbella, Spain called it quits.
Addressing her TikTok followers Lauren said: "I didn't really want to make this video yet, I didn't feel like I was ready but I have just been seeing a lot of things being posted and I felt like I have to now. I understand people are curious but me and Shane are broken up. I don't really want to talk about how or why, I don't think I am ready to and that is why I have not been posting. My anxiety has been through the roof and it is something I have never really experienced before. I understand we put a lot of that online and I know people are curious but just be mindful if you are making comments and videos that I am human at the end of the day and still grieving a relationship like a normal person does."
It turns out fellow creators including TV personality and presenter Miriam Mullins doesn't believe Morgan is being mindful as he labels him a "liar" in a recent live video where Morgan addressed the breakup.
Shane said: "It is like she is victimising herself when in actual fact I broke up with her for doing crazy s**t and she posted that video while I was in hospital and I think that is fu**ing crazy bro."
Another Irish creator has gone viral for sharing her story of how her ex-boyfriend allegedly cheated on her.
