Athy politicians to discuss Christmas lights

The monthly meeting of Athy Municipal District meeting will discuss Christmas lights in local villages in its area.

Councillors will review funding from the Local Property Tax for the issue.

The Athy Municipal District, which has six elected members, covers a large area of Co Kildare from Monasterevin in the north to Castledermot in the south.

The meeting takes place in Athy on Monday.
