Award-winning restaurant opening up in Kildare Village this month

Another dining option will become available for Kildare Village shoppers soon.

Award-winning Thai and Vietnamese restaurant group, Saba will be serving customers at its ‘Saba Street Kitchen’ in  later this month.

Saba opened its first restaurant thirteen years ago and now has two restaurants in Dublin city and three takeaways in suburbs - Rathmines, Windy Arbour and Deansgrange.

Executive Chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana has created a bespoke menu to suit the ‘pop up’ nature of the ‘Saba Street Kitchen’ and will feature popular dishes such as: Chicken Massaman, Phad Thai and Aromatic Butternut Squash Curry as well as other firm favourites.


Chef Tao will keep true to the healthy ethos of Saba with a focus on fresh, healthy ingredients. Saba Slim, Saba Light, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan and Paleo Friendly dishes will also be available at the Kildare Village.

Kids Menu 

Chef Tao has also made a tasty kids menu available so they can enjoy some delicious noodles and curries as well.

Commenting on the new opening, owner Paul Cadden said: “We are really excited to be opening in Kildare Village. It will extend our offering outside of Dublin for the first time.

"Our team is looking forward to this opportunity and we look forward to introducing our ‘Saba Street Kitchen’ to the customers of Kildare Village over the coming months.”
