The worried Co Kildare owners of a beloved 11-year-old dog are offering a reward in the hopes that the dog will be returned home safely.

'Roxy' is described as a female dog with brown and black fur and it is believed that she was stolen on Thursday February 14 in the Clongorey/Blacktrench area.

Her worried owners said: "Roxy is a much loved family pet with us the last 11 years it's unlikely she rambled as she only bolts with fireworks or thunder reward offered for any information on where she is or if anyone seen any suspicious activity from 1pm on Thursday February 14 to 12am Friday February 15 in the Clongorey area."

It is understood that Roxy is not microchipped and is not wearing a collar.

Her anxious owners are offering a reward for her safe return and if anyone may have seen Roxy they are asked to call her owners on 0851415671.
