Blood donation clinic taking place in Kilcullen this evening with urgent need for O NEG blood type

A blood donation clinic is taking place in Kilcullen this evening with donors from the locality being encouraged to attemd with an urgent need for O NEG donors to give blood.

According to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, this week there is a need for 0 Negative blood type in hospitals.

The blood clinic is taking place at Scoil Bhride National School in Kilcullen from 5pm-8.30pm this evening. Those wishing to donate blood must be over 18 years of age and they may be asked to present photo ID such as a passport or drivers licence.
