An extension is being sought for a machinery repair / office building located in South Kildare.

A planning permission application currently with Kildare County Council shows that David Walsh Civil Engineering Limited intends to construct the extension at its headquarters in Knocknacree, Castledermot, County Kildare.

The application reads as follows: "The development will consists (sic) of a single storey extension to the side and rear of an existing two storey office / machinery repair building, permitted by PI Ref. 06/151, and all ancillary site development works including revisions to the site boundaries.

"The extension will be used for the maintenance and repair of the company’s vehicles."

The date received is listed as March 8 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as April 11 and May 2 respectively.

According to the online business database SoloCheck.ie, David Walsh Civil Engineering Ltd was established back in March of 2009.

The company's primary business activity is defined as 'general construction of buildings and civil engineering works.'
