Councillor Fiona McLoughlin Healy has called on Kildare Co Council to provide a report of all international travel and subsistence expenses incurred by councillors and executives between 2014 to present.
The politician will raise the issue at the next monthly meeting of the local authority on Monday.
Cllr McLoughlin Healy also wants information on the "intended benefits to the tax-payers of the trip and any and all reports provided by executive or councillors on their return".
At the same meeting, Cllr Seamie Moore will raise a number of issues about the effect of Brexit on Kildare businesses.
He wants the Council to provide support to companies in Kildare that are involved in the agri meat industry and are selling into the UK from within the county.
Cllr Moore said he wants to "ensure that the impact of a Brexit deal does not put them out of business."
On another matter, Councillor Joe Neville will call on the Council to put a mechanism in place to invite successful sports teams or individuals to an organised event in the Council chamber, to acknowledge their achievements.
