6:00 Wednesday 11th of January 2017

A politician has called for 'urban gym equipment' to be installed along a scenic route in Leixlip.

Cllr Anto Larkin said the circular route is used by pedestrian, walkers, runners, and cyclists.

The route runs from Leixlip Gate to Intel roundabout, Louisa Bridge down Accommodation Road and back again towards Leixlip Gate.

Cllr Larkin also said the location should be considered for a Sli Na Slainte route.
