Cllr Ide Cussen has called on Kildare Co Council to remove a 'tatty' sign at Donaghcumper Cemetery in Celbridge.

The Cemetery on the Dublin Road is beside the ruins of Medieval Church.

Cllr Cussen will raise the issue at the monthly municipal meeting on January 18.

The politician has also requested an update on the Built and National Heritage regarding  Donaghcumper and the Architectural Conservation Area for Celbridge as per the Local Area Plan.

The public representative also asked the Council to provide dog fouling bags on chosen popular dog walking routes in Celbridge and Leixlip.

She also wants bins to be moved to these walking routes and to install additional bins if required.
