Calls for community centre in Maynooth

Kildare Co Council has been asked to identify suitable sites in Maynooth to build a proposed community centre.

Fine Gael politician Cllr Tim Durkan requested that local authority consider possible locations for the facility 'inside and outside the town boundary'.

Cllr Durkan is set to raise the issue at the monthly Municipal District meeting being held in Naas next week.
