Calls for reducing speed limit close to Co Kildare landfill

Appeals are now in place to reduce speed limits in Co Kildare.

There are calls to reduce the current speed limit of 80km/per hour to 6okm/perhour, on all the haul routes, to and from the Drehid landfill.

Cllr Tim Durkan will be asking what progress has been made on the matter at the sitting of Maynooth Municipal Council on October 17.
