Calls for Kildare County Council to deal with 'haven' for anti-social behaviour and rats in Sallins
14:00 Monday 16th of July 2018

A local councillor is calling on Kildare County Council to take action concerning a 'haven' for anti-social behaviour as well as rats in Sallins, with locals having raised concerns in recent weeks.

Fianna Fáil Cllr., Carmel Kelly, is calling on the council to clean and maintain the land it own between Des Kellys and Castlesize.

Cllr Kelly has said that the untidiness of the area is 'attracting rats and undesirable behaviour' to the area, which is proving problematic for locals.

Cllr Kelly's motion will next be debated at the July meeting of the Naas Municipal District on Tuesday 17 July in Naas Town Hall at 3.30pm with all invited to attend.
