Care centre in north Kildare set to finally open in early 2018 as construction continues

A new primary care centre is due to open in Kilcock early next year after the HSE stated that it will soon be completed and handed over by the contractors by the end of January 2018.

It means that the centre will then be ready to open at the Bawnogues in Kilcock, with construction having initially having began in June of last year.

Welcoming confirmation of the completion date, Kildare North representative Emmet Stagg stated;

"The services which will be provided at the Kilcock Primary Care Centre will be GP Out of Hours Service, Public Health and Community Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work - Primary Care, Speech & Language Therapy, Home Help, Community Mental Health Services, Mental Health Day Hospital Services, Clinical Nutrition and Dietician Services, and Psychology and Counselling Services.

"I look forward to the delivery of a State of the Art Health facility for the people of Kilcock early in 2018."
