Final 3 days to recycle your Christmas tree in Kildare
8:15 Wednesday 11th of January 2017

Christmas trees can still be recycled free of charge at five locations across Co Kildare until Friday.

Householders are asked by Kildare Co Council to please remove all Christmas decorations and wrapping from the tree before leaving it at any of the local sites.

The trees are shredded and the mulch is then made available for community groups.

The locations are:

• Athy, Meeting Lane
• Clane, GAA Club
• Maynooth, Council Depot, Leinster Street
• Naas, Monread Park
• Newbridge, Council Nursery, Naas Road
