Co Kildare homeowners suffer burglaries within days

 A Co Kildare homeowner returned yesterday to find a window had been smashed.

The reported burglary took place at Griffith Rath Manor, Maynooth.

It is understood that the burglary took place between 2.30pm and 11.55pm,yesterday.

A window was smashed in order to gain entry.

Jewellery was stolen. Gardaí are appealing for information.

Separately, at Blacktrench, Naas, between mid-day on November 30 and 8am on December 1, a house was broken into.

Entry was gained to the house through a back window.

Nothing was reported stolen
