Conditions in St John of God's Celbridge primary school 'Dickensian'

A Co Kildare TD  has described the conditions in a Celbridge primary school for special needs as 'Dickensian.'

€4million has been allocated to build a new primary school for the St John of God's Services, with Labour TD Emmett Stagg hoping it will be constructed by this time next year.

This announcement comes as a residential unit at St John's of Gods closed, due to a HIQA ruling.
