Crash on the M7 threatening to cause commuter delays this afternoon
14:49 Friday 7th of December 2018

A crash on the M7 Southbound this afternoon could lead to delays for commuters travelling through Kildare.

The incident occurred between J14 Monasterevin and J15 Ballybrittas shortly before 2.30pm this afternoon, and while there are no major delays being experienced by motorists as of yet, the road could get busier during the Friday evening rush.

There are also reports of debris on the on-ramp to the M7 northbound at J13 Kildare. Southbound, traffic is slow from J8 Johnstown down past the works at Naas.

It’s busy on all approaches to the crossroads in Kilcullen, while the N78 is quite busy heading into Athy from the Kilkenny side.
