A Kildare woman who passed this week has been remembered as a 'lovely, kind lady.'
Marie Delahunt (née Buggle), late of her daughter's home, Blackhill Kill, Co Kildare and previously Castlewarden and Ardclough, Co Kildare passed on Monday March 31.
Predeceased by her sister Essie, brothers Billy and Mick.
Beloved wife and best friend of Brendan, surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of the doctors and nurses of Naas General Hospital.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Brendan, daughter Siobhan, son Padraig, son-in-law Christy, her adored grandchildren Jamie, Barry, Jack and Aoife, her brothers Johnny and Tomsie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Tributes paid to Marie on RIP.ie this week included: “Deepest sympathy Brendan, Siobhain, Paraic, Christy & grandchildren, also the Delahunt & Buggle families on the sad passing of Marie. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May Marie rest in eternal peace.”
And: “My deepest condolences Brendan, Siobhan, Padraig and all of Marie's extended family at this sad time. Marie was a lovely lady who always enjoyed a chat and a laugh. May the treasured memories you hold of her help you all through this difficult time. May her gentle soul rest in heavenly peace.”
While another mourner wrote: “Sincere Condolence To Siobhan And the Delahunt & Buggle Family,s on the Death of your lovely Mam , May her gentle soul rest in peace.”
And another added: “Sincere condolences to Brendan and Siobhan and extended Delahunt and Buggle families on the sad passing of Marie. She was a lovely kind lady and she would always enjoy a little chat when she did her shopping . Rest in peace Marie.”

Marie will be reposing at Sallins Funeral Home, Chamney Court, W91DXC8 on Friday April 4 from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.
Removal on Saturday April 5 to St. Brigid's Church, Kill, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery.
Donations if desired to Sapling Special School, Kill, Co Kildare.
Marie had a favourite which she endeavoured to wear everyday. Her wish was if you choose to attend her final journey to wear something pink, even something as small as a ribbon.
Rest in Peace Marie.
