Tributes have poured in following the passing earlier this week of Carbury man, Joe McLoughlin.
Joe was from Coonough, Carbury Co. Kildare and formerly of Killameen, Corrawallen, Co. Leitrim.
He passed peacefully on May 13 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of Tallaght Hospital.
Joe is predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen, brothers Jack, Charlie and Dermot.
Beloved husband of Kathleen and adored father of Karen, Catherine, Maria, Bridget, Shirley, Bernadette, Jennifer, Joanne, Amanda, Joseph and Stephen. Deeply regretted by his brother Brendan, sons-in-law, partners of the family, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Tributes paid to Joe on RIP.ie this week include: “Deepest sympathy to Kathleen and all the family and to Brendan on the sad passing of Joe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May Joe rest in heavenly peace.”
And: “Deepest sympathy to Amanda, Joey Stephen and all the McLoughlin family on the sad passing of Joe, may he rest in peace.”
While another mourner wrote: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you Catherine and your family on the passing of your beloved dad, may he rest in peace.”
And another added: “Condolences to Shirley and the McLoughlin family on the passing of Joe. May he rest in peace.”
Joe will be reposing at his family home on Wednesday from 4pm concluding with Rosary at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Derrinturn at 12 midday followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
