Pat O'Brien

The death has occurred of Pat O'Brien, Nag's Head, Monasterevin, Kildare.

Beloved son of Kay and the late Séamus. Much loved brother of Pauline, Philip and Anne.

Adored uncle of Niall, Orla and Colm, granduncle of Oisín and Billy Patrick and brother in law of Miriam. Sadly missed by his family, Niall's wife Caoimhe, Orla's husband Rob, cousins, relatives, many friends and all his customers in the Nag's Head.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Monasterevin on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm, with Rosary recital at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.50am to arrive at St Peter & Pauls Church for 11am requiem Mass.

Interment afterwards in St Evin's cemetery.

Kieran (Darby) Cummins

The death has occurred of Kieran (Darby) Cummins, Church Hill, Dunlavin, Wicklow / Moone, Kildare. Formerly of Moone.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and George, brothers George Jnr ,Sean and Bob, sisters Breda and Maura.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary and her two sons Patrick and David, his daughter Sharon,son-in-law Robert, grandchildren Roisin ,Jack Bronagh, Amy, Ava, Kobie, great-grandchild Romi,brothers Seamus and Michael,sisters-in-law Thersea and Carmel, All his nieces and nephews, extended family and Friends

The death has occurred of Mary Dunny (née Walsh), Burtown, Athy, Kildare / Straffan, Kildare.

Mary Dunny née Walsh, formerly of Straffan, Co. Kildare.

Predeceased by her loving parents Thomas and Ellen Walsh.

Deeply regretted by her devoted husband Noel, loving children Catherine, Pat, Ann-Marie and Noelle, grandchildren Elizabeth, James, Hannah, Marie, Livia, Annabelle, Nicole, Fiona, Ben and Jack, cousin Bridget, daughter-in-law Jasmin and sons-in-law Tom, Shane and Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Tuesday evening (June 10th) from 6pm until 8pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning (June 11th) to arrive at The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Moone for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.narraghmoreandmoone.ie.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PJ Fitzpatrick

The death has occurred of P.J. Fitzpatrick, Athy, Kildare.

P.J. Fitzpatrick passed away on 7th June 2025 surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff of Kilkenny Care Centre, Newpark, Kilkenny.

Predeceased by his daughter Lisa, brothers Robert and Tom.

He will be sadly missed by his son Patrick, grandchildren Logan, Louise, Matthew and Zoie, his daughter-in-law Catherine, sisters Mary, Ann and Betty, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Bill Glennon

The death has occurred of Bill Glennon, Naas, Kildare. Peacefully, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Gertrude and loving dad of Brian.

Predeceased by his sister Mary and brother Michael.

Bill will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife and son, grandson Fynn, daughter-in-law Fiona, sister Sally, brothers Pat, Chris and Peter, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, (Eircode W91 CD0K) on Tuesday 10th June from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary Prayers at 6:30pm. Funeral on Wednesday 11th June with Requiem Mass at 10am in Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Derek Halpin

The death has occurred of Derek Halpin. Late of Spain and, Naas, Kildare.

Derek Halpin (late of Spain and Naas) died suddenly on Thursday 5th June in Spain.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Tommy and Loretta, his beloved son Dylan, his best friend and brother Gary, niece Ellab, nephew Cian, wife Aoife, Dylan's mum Ger, uncles, aunts, extended family and a wide of friends in Spain and Naas.

May He Rest In Peace.

The family would like to thank you for your help and understanding at this sad and difficult time.

The death has occurred of Michael (Tucker) Shiels, Lough Brown, The Curragh, Kildare.

Shiels, Michael (Tucker), Lough brown, The Curragh, Co. Kildare - 8th June 2025 (peacefully) at St. James Hospital.

Sadly missed by his loving brothers Charlie and Jim, sisters Janet and Martina, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces Michelle, Aimee, Emily and Joanne, nephews David, Philip, Alan and Robert, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Tucker Rest in peace.
