Tributes have poured in following the passing of Gabrielle (Gay) Dumbrell, Railpark, Maynooth, Co Kildare/Narraghmore Co Kildare.
Gabrielle passed peacefully on June 14 2025 at Moyglare Nursing Home, Maynooth, surrounded by her loving family.
She is pre-deceased by her daughter Ruth, brother Jim, sister Molly and her best friend Jim Byrne. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her children Gareth, Sharon and Tracey, daughter-in-law Tanya, son-in-law Trevor, grandchildren David, Rebecca, Andrew, Katelin, David, Hannah, Sarah and Charlie, great-grandchildren Dean, Dara, Emmy and Hailey, sister Carmel, sisters-in-law Bernadette, Marie and Joan, nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.

Tributes paid to Gabrielle on RIP.ie this week include: g“Deepest Sympathy to Gareth Sharon and Tracey on the death of their dear Mam Thinking of you and all the family at this difficult and emotional time.”
And: “Sincere condolences to Gareth and all the family on the passing of your mother.”
While another mourner wrote: “Deepest sympathy to all Gay's family and friends. May she rest in peace.”
And another added: “Sincere condolences to Gay's family. She was a wonderful person had many great chats with her may she rest in peace amen.”
Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth, (W23V99E) on Friday from 5pm - 8pm, with evening prayers at 7:30pm.
Removal from the Funeral Home on Saturday at approx. 9:30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.
