The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) Callan, Pluckerstown, Kilmeague, Kildare, W91 FY56 / Allenwood, Kildare. Formerly of Allenwood Middle, Allenwood, Co. Kildare.

Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Father of The Late Martin and Damian.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, his children Joey, Ann, Isobel, Josephine, Brigid, Elaine, Tom and Chris, sons and daughter in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his family home (W91 FY56) from 4pm on Wednesday with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Thursday morning to arrive at The Church of The Holy Trinity, Allen for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Allen Cemetery.

Deirdre Colreavy (née Donohoe)

The death has occurred of Deirdre Colreavy (née Donohoe), Leixlip, Kildare / Dublin 12, Dublin.

Colreavy, Deirdre (née Donohoe) Leixlip, Co Kildare and formerly of Crumlin and Greenpark, Dublin 12.

Passed away on August 9 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff at St. James Hospital.

Beloved wife of Raymond, mother of Sarahanne and Lorcan, a much loved mother in law to Keith, a cherished grandmother of Thomas and Andrew and much loved by her sisters and brothers, sisters in law and brothers in law, cousins, aunt and uncle, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Her loss is immense, made more so by the suddenness of her passing.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home Lucan on Tuesday evening (August 12th) between 6pm and 8pm.

A service to celebrate Deirdre’s life will be held in Newland’s Cross Crematorium on Wednesday afternoon (August 13) at 2.30pm.

The family would like to thank all the medical staff who cared for Deirdre in St James Hospital Oncology Unit & the Intensive Care Unit.

August 7, 2025 (suddenly) in the excellent care of Ashley Lodge Nursing Home, Co. Kildare. Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Esther, his brothers Jimmy and Mike, sisters Helen and Esther, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Pat will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving wife Betty, brother Brian, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Bridie Delaney, Katie Delaney and Bridie Kane, nieces, nephews, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends from the farming community.

The death has occurred of Baby Lucia Marie Fox, Ballyshannon, Carbury, Kildare.

Baby Lucia Marie Fox was born sleeping on Friday, August 8 2025 in the Rotunda Hospital.

Baby Lucia will be forever loved and cherished and she will never be forgotten.

She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her loving parents Chantelle and Thomas, her big brother Noah, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, family and friends.

Predeceased by her grandfather Tom.

The death has occurred of Margaret O'Toole (née Quinn), 17 Mansfield Grove, Athy, Kildare.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Margaret O'Toole (née Quinn) of 17 Mansfield Grove, Athy.

Margaret passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10 surrounded by family and friends in the loving care of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh.

Predeceased by her loving husband Kevin O'Toole. Deeply missed by her daughter Shauna, son Gavin, family and friends.
