Geraldine Marum-Crossan

The death has occurred of Geraldine Marum-Crossan, Kilminchy, Portlaoise, Laois, R32W40K / Naas, Kildare.

Geraldine Marum-Crossan, Lake Drive, Kilminchy, Portlaoise and formerly Naas Co. Kildare.

Died peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, on September 9 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Edward and Ann, brother Raymond and nephew Stephen, loving wife to Mick, wonderful and loving mother to Stephanie, Amanda, Amber and Eve.

Sadly missed by her sons-in-law, her adored grandchildren Oliver, Fionn, Reuben and Caleb, her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence R32W40K on Thursday September 11th from 5pm till 8pm with Rosary at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am in SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise. Followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise.

The family wish to express their gratitude to Dr. Bergin Renal Dialysis team at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore and the Braun Clinic Portlaoise.

Brendan Meaney

The death has occurred of Brendan Meaney, São Paulo, Brazil, formerly of Ballyoulster, Celbridge, Kildare.

In Loving Memory of Brendan Meaney.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brendan Meaney on Sunday, September 7 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil, formerly of Ballyoulster, Celbridge.

Brendan passed away suddenly at home following a short illness.

Predeceased by his beloved parents, William and Theresa, he will be deeply missed by his cherished family Nickolas, Clara, and Cristina; his brothers Martin, Liam, Thomas, and Seamus; his sisters Carmel and Rita; his nieces and nephews; brothers- and sisters-in-law; extended family, and his wide circle of friends.

A funeral service will be held in São Paulo.

Alice Murphy (née Bambrick)

The death has occurred of Alice Murphy (née Bambrick), Marina Court, Athy, Kildare.

Alice Murphy (née) Bambrick, passed away peacefully on September 10 2025 at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise surrounded by her family.

Predeceased her husband Jackie, son-in-law Cyril, her brothers and sisters. Alice will be sadly missed by her daughters Ann and Catherine, grandchildren Brendan (Emma), Catriona (John), Annalise (Dylan), Martin, great-grandchildren Dylan, Paul, Casy, Jack, Erin, Jake, Oliver, Darcie Mae, Livie, Andy, and Tom, son-in-law Bren, brother-in-law Sam, niece Anne Kelly, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Alice will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Friday evening September 12 from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary at 6.30pm.

Removal at 10.45am on Saturday morning September 13 to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy.

John O'Loughlin

The death has occurred of John O'Loughlin, Dunshane Lodge, Brannockstown, Naas, Kildare, W91 N29A.

Beloved husband of Catherine, much loved father of Roisín, Edward, John and Daniel. Predeceased by his son Simon.

Survived also by Daughters in law Nuala and Kerri, Daniel's partner Laura, grandchildren Blathnaid and Iseult, brother Eddie and sister Mary. Sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at his home tomorrow, Thursday the 11th from 5pm-8pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday in St Peter's Church, Two Mile House at 11am.

Thereafter to Mount Jerome for 2.30pm service, which will be live streamed on their website.

House private on Friday morning please.

Ann Flynn (née Quinn)

The death has occurred of Ann Flynn (née Quinn), 25 Avondale Drive, Athy, Kildare.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved wife and mother Ann Flynn (née Quinn) of 25 Avondale Drive, Athy who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband Tom and family.

Predeceased by her much loved grandson Cian. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her husband Tom, daughters Sharon and Aisling, sons Darren, Adrian, Paul and David, her brother Tony, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-granddaughter Ruby.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Thursday evening (September 11) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. A private cremation will take place. Family flowers only.

Donations, if desired, to 'The Friends of St. Vincent's Hospital, Athy'.
