Tributes paid to 'wonderful man' from Kildare

The late Patrick (Pat) Geoghegan

Heartfelt tributes have poured in following the passing of a 'wonderful man' from Leixlip, Kildare.

Patrick (Pat) Geoghegan, Leixlip and late of Cadamstown, Moyvalley, Co Kildare passed peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of Maynooth Community Care Unit on September 13 last.

Predeceased by his parents Theobald and Helen, sister Emily and brother Harry. Patrick will be forever sadly missed by his loving and caring wife Ann, adored sons and daughters, Denise, Gerard, Ciarán, Patrick, Sineád, David, Colleen and Daniel, cherished grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May Patrick Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth, (W23V99E) on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6:30pm.

Removal from Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth on Thursday at approx. 10:30am to arrive at Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

Tributes paid to Pat on RIP.ie this week include: “Our deepest condolences to Anne and all the family at this very sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May Pat rest in Peace.”

And: “Sincere sympathies to David and all the Geoghegan family on the loss of Pat. May he rest in peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “Deepest sympathy to Anne and family. Pat was a wonderful man. We will always remember the great chats when he called to the garage. We are thinking of you all at this sad time. RIP Pat”

And another added: “Deepest sympathy to Ann and Family on the loss of your wonderful husband and Dad. May he Rest In Peace.”
