An Athy, Co Kildare man has been fondly remembered as “a true gentleman.”
Tom Joe Bradley, 9 St Patrick's Avenue, Athy, Kildare – formerly of Timahoe, Co Laois – passed peacefully on September 23 last in the loving care of Tallaght University Hospital.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marjorie, son Seán and his partner LaToya, daughter Catherine, grandchildren Jack, Sophia, Cian and Sam, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at his daughter Catherine's residence, 4 Ashville, Athy (R14 X998) on Thursday afternoon (September 25) from 4pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.
Removal at 1.30pm on Friday afternoon (September 26) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 2pm, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie
Burial afterwards in Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.

Tributes paid to Tom this week on RIP.ie include: “My sincere condolences to Marjorie, Catherine and Sean. May Tom rest in peace. Only a few weeks ago I met him on a walk had a lovely chat a gentleman x”
And: “Our sincere condolences to you all on the sad passing of your dear husband/Dad/Grandad, Tom was a lovely man well known and respected by all in Athy and surrounding areas, may his gentle soul rest in peace, x.”
While another mourner wrote: “Our Deepest Sympathy to Marjorie Sean Catherine and extended families on the sad passing of Tom Joe. A true gentleman... R.I.P.”
And another added: “My sincere sympathy to Marjorie and all your family on the sad loss of Tom Joe. We had many good times playing Golf in Athy Golf Club, a fierce competitor but always a gentleman. May he rest in eternal peace.”
