Tributes paid to a 'kind and genuine woman' from Kildare

Heartfelt tributes have poured in following the passing of a 'kind and genuine woman' from Kildare.

Connie Clancy – Naas, Kildare / Kilrush, Clare – passed peacefully on Wednesday last, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Pat and loving Mom of Garrett, Sarah and Simone.

Connie will be forever loved and dearly missed by her heartbroken family, grandchildren Matthew, Sam, Sloane, Sofia and Slaney, daughter-in-law Lena, son-in-law Neal, sisters, brothers, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the family home on Thursday September 25 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral on Friday with Requiem Mass at 12 noon in The Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

“I had the pleasure of meeting Connie two years ago when I started working in Sallins NS. What a kind and genuine woman she was. I felt welcomed wholeheartedly, especially during our little chats on yard or in the staffroom. She will be deeply missed and I wish all her family my condolences. “

And: “Sincere condolences to Garrett, Sarah, Simone and your families on the passing of your lovely mother. Also condolences to my cousins Maureen, Ann, Paddy, Breeda, Mairead, Noreen and Michael. May Connie now rest in eternal peace with Pat, Claire and her parents.”

While another mourner wrote: “Sincere sympathy to Garret, Sarah and Simone on the passing of your mom, Connie. Sympathy also to the extended Walsh and Clancy families. Connie was a beautiful lady, inside & out. Reunited now with her beloved Pat. RIP Connie.”

And another added: “Garrett Sarah Simone and the extended Clancy and Walsh families my deepest condolence to you all on the sad passing of Connie may she rest in peace.”
