The late Maurice Musgrave
The Robertstown Community in Kildare is mourning the recent passing of Maurice Musgrave, “an educator, a leader, and the true definition of a gentleman.”
Maurice, Coolagh, Kilmeague, Kildare and formerly Newcastle West, Limerick first arrived in the village some 50 years ago as a young teacher.
As Robertstown Tidy Towns outlined on a social media post, “over the decades, he became much more than that — he was a mentor, a guide, and an inspiration to generations. His devotion to both the school and the local football club was unwavering, and his deep commitment to community life touched countless lives.”
According to Robertstown Tidy Towns, Maurice consistently encouraged others, “instilling confidence and pride in all those fortunate enough to know him.”
