Tributes flow in for Kildare Town woman who passed this week

Heartfelt tributes have been made following the passing of a Kildare Town woman.

Sandra Ryan (née Stock), Maryville, Kildare Town, Kildare passed on October 6 2025.

Sandra passed peacefully at Naas Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of the late Declan, Sandra will be sadly missed by her loving son Declan, daughter-in-law Kim, grandchildren Millie and Jamie, brothers Tony and John (RIP), brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Sandra Rest In Peace.

Reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town on Thursday (9th October) from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

The removal is to be held by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Friday morning to arrive at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin for funeral service at 11.30am.

Sandra's funeral service will be live streamed through the webstream link below.

The family requests family flowers only please.

Tributes paid to Sandra this week on RIP.ie include: “My heartfelt sympathy on the passing of my dear friend Sandra. I will miss you forever. But i have great memories of our chats, laughs and tears. You were such a good friend to me Sandra. Declan Millie and Jamie also Kim she loved you all dearly. Sleep well always in my heart .”

And: “Sincere condolences to Dec, Kim, Millie, Jamie and Sandra’s family and friends. Thinking of you all.”

While another mourner wrote: “So sad on the passing of Sandra. She will be terribly missed. We used to know her well from the Sacred Dance. And me and my mother and Sandra and Betty used to go out for a cuppa too.
Rest in peace.”

And another added: “So sorry to hear of dear Sandra's passing. Many good memories through the years. Condolences to Declan. May she rest in peace.”
